We made some last-minute incense burners for the Urbana winter market this weekend. Here's a little video of how they turned out, along with some photos and video of the market! :)

These were designed in #inkscape from scratch, then engraved on basswood, in 2 layers glued together, we then routed the edges, and sanded the pieces before staining. The orange one was engraved on basswood that was first spray painted orange, and then masked with masking tape, the engraving was subsequently filled in with black acrylic paint. It bled a bit through the tape unfortunately, but it kind of works, giving it a bit of a distressed look.
