Lanky was a short-lived group formed by former Jean-Paul Sartre Experience singer-songwriter Jim Laing. The group put out an album on the then-fledgling Arch Hill Recordings label in 2000 before disappearing, with Laing's backing band all going on to David Kilgour's Heavy Eights.
The jeans run long, but theyโre perfect at the waist. Didnโt seem to shrink much (or at all) after a cold water wash and even being put through a dryer cycle.
I picked up two pairs of 30/32 and Jay got 30/30. She had the length tailored in store for free. Took an hour.
I usually wear 30-length pants uncuffed, but I have a very small cuff on these, which is nice because I can show off the selvedge stitching. ๐ The 32s absolutely need to be cuffed. #Lanky #NotThatTall #IHaveNoButt #SittingHurts
