• teacher-student relationships
• student-to-student relationships
• intergenerational relationships beyond age-bound class groups
• epistemology, how we know what we know, who we regard as experts

How can we begin to decolonize each of these levels?

I'm always so disappointed to see how many people imagine decolonized education or even culturally-responsive education as just being what you teach about. So often, it doesn't touch on the fundamental values of colonization: 𝚍𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗.

This happens almost every single year, and the government STILL will not assist them to have a #floodway

The people of Peguis were forced to move to this flooded land many years ago due to displacement. It's the very least that they can do.
