I've found a catastrophic bug in curl, the cat pic downloader. Curl is written in C, and as everyone knows, it's not possible to write secure software in that language. I have a working exploit, which I'll be publishing over the holidays, but the overview is that you replace all code in Curl with a call to "system(gets())" and run it as root. Instant remote code execution!

This is also proof that one case rewrite curl in a weekend.
