Just had a message from Davie the Crofter to say that he found the abandoned lambie's mother, and has penned in the two of them. She's happily accepted the lamb who is feeding.
Everyone's happy.

Lamb rescue. this morning. We saw this lamb all alone in the sheep fank, crying and looking for Mumsie. Mumsie was nowhere to be seen. Lambie came right up to us, so I picked it up, before phoning Davie the Crofter.

Here's the Mumsie sheep and the new lambie, born this morning, and posted about earlier today.
The little one still doesn't have full control over these weird leg things, and operating on steep ground is awkward, but we know where the warm food is to be found.

4. Some bad shaky video of the lamb trying to get up. Soon it'll get some warming milk. Mumsie has done well.No concerns about her care for her lambie.
