Wanted to promote a local band from my country while they released a new song.
Lalalar is one of the few Turkish modern bands that do incorporate Turkish music with contemporary music elements and be successful at that. If you never heard Turkish music it may sound off to you because it uses notes that doesn't exist in western music 🙂 But I believe they are fairly accessible as they are touring in Europe.

I don't know where to start with this one. The vibes are appropriately Turkish, given the band's heritage, and there's an excellent groove riding underneath, but there's also a delicious weirdness to the whole affair. I just really, REALLY like it.
Best just to have a listen. They're all clearly having fun - so might you.
