When folks would come visit Pixar and see how we make movies, they would tell me we were crazy.
I would always correct them, and say "no - we're not crazy. the stop motion people, though - they’re crazy”.
And of the few stop motion studios out there, the most ambitious of those is Laika.

“ParaNorman” (2012) was made using a combination of stop-motion & 3D animation, digital & practical SFX & motion capture. With the use of nearly 200 puppets, 75 individual sets-all hand built- it took a team of 70 people 3yrs to complete!
