Tonight: about a year and a half ago, caught Lady Lamb (fka Lady Lamb the Beekeeper) in Brooklyn with a big band including a string section, recreating an album. That was pretty great. Tonight she's solo and packing an equally powerful emotional punch. Raw, honest, killer stuff. Opening was Sima Cunningham who is in Finom (fka Ohmme) who matched the energy with some excellent, deeply personal songwriting herself. Great bill at Madame Lou’s in Seattle.
