I have spent so little time north of #yeg despite having lived here basically my whole life. So it was a pretty special treat to spend the weekend at Lac La Biche.
The lake is really beautiful, and we took a short hike around Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park where we heard and saw about 20 species of birds. Might have even got some photos of some including boreal chickadees (need to pull them from the camera still).
