She got a big dental snack, in the form of a toothbrush. She had had dental snacks before, but not like this one. So she was carefully examining it, before devouring it. 😇

I was giving Arwen scratches, and she positioned herself on my hand, so I could/would not stop giving her all the cuddles and scratches...
Ow how I miss this gall... 😢
In three weeks... I'll be picking up Koa later today... How time can go by so slow and so fast at times...

Almost 6 years ago... I took this picture of Arwen, enjoying a lovely dried ear snack, in the kitchen of our old apartment.
She was 6 years old here, would go on 7 in July that year.
She's been gone for 265 days now 😢. And in 23 days, I will take my Koa home... 🤎 But I'll never forget my gall, she was the sweetest soulmate I've ever known. 💜

This selfie, of my wonderful furry soulmate Arwen and me, was taken exactly 6 years ago today...
Unfortunately, she passed away on July 4th 2025. And, after a lot of tears and bad dreams, there is a new choccy love coming my way again... 🤎🐾 On April 18, Koa Koolani will come to live with me... My first choccy boy...
I still miss Arwen every day!

A little over 7 years ago, I was still struggling with severe depression after a very nasty divorce.
My parents took me to Center Parcs Allgäu for a week.
At the end of the day, Arwen (age 5) and Bas (age 1), were snoozing together, next to me on the couch...

Getting some cuddles from the pups! If I remember correctly, it was the blue-collared boy. He was really so cuddly, climbing on me, making sweet noises while getting all the scratches and cuddles. And I loved every moment of it! 💙
