People who are really critical of fashion generally have zero style. They are the kind of people who make tik toks and reels about the new season slave labour made clothes at Kmart. They are the kind of people who still have clothes with tags still on that get donated to charity after 6 months and then those clothes get shipped to African or South American countries who don't fucking want them either. They are the kind of people who wear stretch denim and complain about them falling apart after two wears.

They complain about poorly made clothes and yet... keep buying them because they're cheap -- never connecting the price they paid to the person who wasn't paid properly to make that garment for the price they paid. Who could definitely make a heaps better item if they were given time and money but manufacturing clothes is a race to the bottom and very few people understand that all clothes are HAND MADE but the easiest way to make a profit is to steal the labour from those hands.
