I think "Confide In Me" was a great song and marked Kylie as a serious artist.
So when the Nick Cave + Kylie duet appeared, I wasn't that shocked. It just seemed like an obvious thing that cool people would do at the height of Alternative Music.
I do have the Impossible Princess album on CD somewhere around here. I think of it now as an OK album from an artist navigating a period with no safe genres. Certainly it fares better than a lot of stuff from other established artists struggling to survive the 90s.
