I ported #kweb to use #webkit2 and run on modern systems that don't have old libraries.

I did this for the #HestiaPi project, but I might also create an account on the #RaspberryPi forum and let people know there.

As always, if you value having a kiosk web browser that is still maintained and want to send me some #bitcoin as a thank you, it'd be much appreciated. I want to be able to keep doing these types of things.

I am working towards getting the #HestiaPi image upgraded to #Debian 11 (bullseye). It's going well except the browser that displays the UI on the LCD screen.

#kweb is no longer maintained and the libraries it uses are no longer in the apt repos.

#Midori is available via apt, but only version 7, which has some UI bugs that we hit plus it is less performant than kweb

I compiled Midori v9.0 and that fixed the UI bugs, but the performance is still an issue.

I have not given up yet though.
