Il Tempo: Guerra, esplosioni a Teheran. Pioggia di missili su Israele e Paesi del Golfo

Infiamma la guerra i Medio oriente. Esplosioni sono state segnalate nei pressi dell'aeroporto di Teheran. Le immagini, diffuse da Al Jazeera, mostrano enormi esplosioni avvenute durante la notte nei pressi dello scalo di Mehrabad, situato dentro la capitale iraniana. Nel filmato si vede il fumo che si alza intorno all'aeroporto.  Intanto il Corpo delle Guardie della Rivoluzione Islamica dell'Iran ha dichiarato di aver lanciato nelle scorse ore la sua "operazione più violenta e intenso" dall'inizio della guerra, riporta la  Cnn che cita fonti media locali. Missili balistici a lungo raggio Khorramshahr sarebbero stati lanciati contro obiettivi in Israele e statunitensi ma non ci sono segnalazioni di feriti, riferiscono i servizi di soccorso israeliani, citati da Times of Israel.

Nella regione la tensione è altissima. La difesa aerea del Qatar è' riuscita a intercettare l'attacco missilistico iraniano sul suo territorio, riferisce Al Jazeera. "La minaccia alla sicurezza è stata eliminata e la situazione è tornata alla normalità", hanno affermato le autorità del Paese. Il Corpo delle Guardie della Rivoluzione Islamica dell'Iran ha inoltre affermato che almeno due missili sono stati lanciati verso una base statunitense in Kuwait. Lo riferiscono le agenzie di stampa iraniane. "La base americana di Arifjan è stata colpita dal lancio di 2 missili da parte dell'unità missilistica terrestre", hanno dichiarato i Pasdaran, riferendosi a Camp Arifjan, installazione situata a sud di Kuwait City.

Images, broadcast by Al Jazeera, show massive explosions that occurred during the night near the Mehrabad airport, located within the Iranian capital. The footage shows smoke rising around the airport. Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has declared it launched its “most violent and intense” operation since the start of the war, according to CNN, citing local media sources. Ballistic missiles with long range Khorramshahr were launched against targets in Israel and the United States, but there are no reports of casualties, Israeli rescue services reported, cited by Times of Israel.

Tension is extremely high in the region. The Qatari air defense managed to intercept the Iranian missile attack on its territory, Al Jazeera reports. “The threat to security has been eliminated and the situation has returned to normal,” the country’s authorities said. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also stated that at least two missiles were launched towards a U.S. base in Kuwait. This is reported by Iranian news agencies. “The American base of Arifjan was struck by the launch of 2 missiles by the ground missile unit,” the Pasdaran said, referring to Camp Arifjan, a base located south of Kuwait City.

Il Tempo: Abbattuti dal Kuwait per errore i tre caccia americani precipitati

Sono stati abbattuti dalle difese aeree del Kuwait per errore i tre caccia F-15 statunitensi impegnati in operazioni legate all'Iran. Lo ha reso noto il Comando Centrale degli Stati Uniti. Tutti e sei i piloti degli equipaggi si sono eiettati con il seggiolino e sono arrivati a terra in sicurezza con il paracadute. Sono stati recuperati, accompagnati in ospedale e sono in condizioni stabili. In quel momento era in corso una battaglia aerea. Da ieri l'Iran ha lanciato 97 missili e 238 droni contro il Kuwait. È stata colpita anche una base militare americana presente nel Paese e L'ambasciata Usa a Kuwait City.
Una dichiarazione congiunta degli Stati del Golfo e degli Usa ha condannato fermamente gli "attacchi missilistici e droni indiscriminati e sconsiderati" dell'Iran in tutta la regione, che, hanno avvertito, minacciano la stabilità regionale. Gli attacchi hanno avuto luogo in Bahrein, Iraq (inclusa la regione del Kurdistan iracheno), Giordania, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Arabia Saudita ed Emirati Arabi Uniti. Violente esplosioni si sono verificate a Dubai e Samha, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, e a Doha, la capitale del Qatar. L'Arabia Saudita ha chiuso la sua più grande raffineria dopo che un attacco con droni ha causato un incendio. A Cipro due droni diretti contro la base militare britannica di Akrotiri sono stati intercettati, dopo un precedente attacco avvenuto la notte scorsa.
Un nuovo importante fronte di guerra, iniziato sabato da Israele e dagli Stati Uniti, si è aperto oggi, quando Hezbollah ha lanciato missili e droni verso Israele in rappresaglia per l'uccisione della Guida Suprema dell'Iran, Ali Khamenei, avvenuta nel fine settimana. Secondo il ministero della Salute libnese ha denunciato bombardamenti israeliani su Beirut e Tiro hanno ucciso almeno 31 persone e ne hanno ferite 149.
