Last year I started sharing our plan for the #Kungsleden on Instagram. This year I want to start anew on #Mastodon.
We hiked from Abisko to Nikkaluokta, and this summer we'll cover from Nikkaluokta to Kvikkjokk. Planning takes some time, for us, as we'll be 4 people... and 3 dogs.
We'll travel from Italy to Sweden by train, so the planning starts now, in February, by booking all the night trains up to Kiruna.
But I can't wait to be there again.

My #silentsunday is dedicated to the #Kungsleden in #Sweden. I hiked the first part in 2025 (Abisko to Nikkaluokta) and we are now organizing the second (from Nikkaluokta to Kvikkjokk).
It's such a different scenery compared to our Dolomites. It's wild, quiet and less crowded.
I can't wait to go back this summer.

The most beautiful sunset I have ever experienced on a hike. This was shot in August 2025 at Singi when we were hiking the first part of the Kungsleden in Sweden, from Abisko to Nikkaluokta.
I can't wait to go back this summer for the second part of this amazing trekking, this year with our dogs and @petitfrere0412 !
