@soaproot @apz @Mastodon As I understand it, #KubeOne only supports #IPv6 for AWS and not for @hetzner, which is the provider for mastodon.social. Hopefully it will be added soon, as this would improve #federation for many people.

@wouterkobes @renchap @bartknubben Mastodon admins & users on IPv4-only instances, especially if you're using @Kubermatic #KubeOne (like mastodon.social), we need your help!

#IPv6 support is a much-needed feature for full federation. So let's get these two issues prioritised and assigned:

@konstantin i used #terraform and #kubeone when I was doing #k8s in Hetzner cloud. But as I switched to an auto-scaling managed #k8s cluster (again) I‘ve been able to ditch this. And with #ArgoCD it’s just a matter of pushing a/multiple git repo(s) with yamls to get the deployed. That’s just as much as I’s bearable for a super tiny team (aka me) working on the cluster 😂

On the weekend I created an #OVHCloud account because they're providing managed #K8s clusters and I want to trade my #Terraform + #KubeOne self-managed #Hetzner cluster for something with less maintenance.

@konstantin yep, I was blown away by how flexible, reliable and easy it was to get #K8s using #kubeone up and running on #HetznerCloud amd even scale it.
