Earlier today I’d pushed #plasma 6.6.0 & frameworks 6.23.0 to the #ktown #slackwareaaarch64 repo. I’d forgot to update the webpage but I’ll have to do that later. Anyway, the important part is there. 😜 https://slackware.lngn.net/
slackware packages/repos for aarch64 (and one or two for x86_64)

@jloc0 I was at some point going to install your #kde6 but I realised it was gone when I did an update/upgrade and Falkon was using Qt5.
So I took the plunge and installed #ktown It's working fine and falkon behaves now. Running as the wayland session. I'm not a huge fan of big DEs but I'll keep it around until/if it ever makes -current.

BTW, @r1w1s1 I ran the check depends script and about the same as amount as last time is slightly broken. All apps still functional though.

Reminder that today is the last day my #kde6 repo will be online. If you've not migrated to #ktown the next time you try and pull in slackpkg updates, you will likely have an unpleasant surprise. I'm pretty sure I used every channel available to me to announce this, so hopefully it doesn't catch anyone off guard. I guess we'll see how many PMs I get after it's gone lol

Also, it's now under 10 days away until my #kde6 repos you've all been using for a few years now will be purged. I'm hoping by now everyone had the time to migrate to #ktown but if not... you should really get on that! 😅

Going forward I'll only maintain the aarch64 builds of ktown and I'll sunset both x86_64 & aarch64 kde6 repos.

In just under two hours of work, I got OBS to build & run on #slackwareaarch64 on top of a #ktown install. Using existing SlackBuilds and a few packages from my repo (& also cutting a few corners).

This wasn't exactly fun, but well, I wasn't going to give up that easily. 🤪

I duped a test #kde6 VM to see how migrating to #ktown goes. If it all works out, everything should be the same minus a few apps and adding a snowy new icon. But I should get me a list of out this, and a list of packages will be most helpful for others to migrate from my repo to ktown.
