The months-long saga is finally over for OTA #television viewers in #ArdmoreOK and southern #Oklahoma in general:
The #KTEN transmitter in #TishomingoOK went back to full power on Friday. The local affiliate for NBC and ABC had been transmitting on reduced power since an August 2023 lightning strike.

The local NBC, ABC and CW affiliate has been broadcasting from #TishomingoOK on reduced power since a lightening strike in August. That has meant shoddy reception here in #ArdmoreOK ever since.
"We hope to have the project completed in the next two weeks," said #KTEN General Manager Dave Tillery in a Friday statement.

While patching up a #squirrel hole in the attic, I turned the #antenna a few degrees north and #KTEN comes in much better in #ArdmoreOK from the #TishomingoOK transmitter...
...but now the other broadcaster's signal tends to glitch out, and I don't hear squirrels anymore.
When will I get back up in the attic?
