Baroque and Rococo type flourishes in interior design and architectural illustration are quite laborious to do. I depended heavily on my 3D skills to pull off this illustration. "Hat and Stairs" is my entry for one of Krita-artists.org's monthly challenges last year.

Fairy Tale Red

Reimagining Little Red Riding Hood as an action movie star is a blast. Fairy Tale Red was my submission for last year's Fairy Tale challenge in Krita-artists.org. Quite honestly, developing the iconic hero into a formidable feminine fighter would make a great character study. I would watch a movie based on the pic.

Desert Domes

I made a decision to try and do more environment paintings about a year and a half ago . I realize that I have been heavy with character design the past few years. It wouldn't hurt to diversity my genres. "Desert Domes" was one of my attempts to address this issue last year. The piece would have probably done a lot better if the angle was wide rather than cropped like in this illustration. It's still a solid piece though.

San Pablo City Virtual Plein Air

San Pablo City was my childhood playground. I miss it... I miss the place. And what better way to commemorate this treasured memories of mine than by doing a virtual plein air painting of one of it's most iconic locations. San Pablo Cathedral has been in existence since 1714. I can't wait to visit it IRL again.

Nichole Photo Study

I forgot how gorgeous looking a monochrome color tone can be. Most monochrome I ever run into are grayscale... and those I appreciate tremendously. But color monochrome hits differently than a grayscale does. There's an emotional undertone that can be encoded, which isn't as apparent in a grayscale. Imagine this piece as a red monochrome rather than blue... how would that feel to you?

Nice Living Room

I honestly just now fell for this piece. When I finished it last year, I thought it was "meh..." ok-ish... mid at best. But now that I look at it again, I think it has a smart composition. Subject matter is still alright... but the composition, though simple, is very effective.

Aprilia's Stardust

"Stardust" is the product of my niece's imagination. She created the character after being inspired by the movie "Transformers One." She wrote a fan fiction about this Autobot and asked me to do an illustration of the hero.
