People don't like my kosher, vegan, no kitniyot dishes.

Is this article pro-trade war?! 😆 🍷

"#MaxKirschner pondered the #kosher #wine section at an uptown #Toronto #liquorstore, two days before the start of #Passover.

As he mulled over which six bottles to purchase for his two #Seders, he had plenty of options: #Wines from #Israel, #Italy, #Chile, #Argentina and #NewZealand lined the shelves. The #SouthAfrican #sauvignonblancs were directly below the #French #bordeaux.

There was something missing, though: any product from the #UnitedStates.

That’s because all #US-produced wines and #spirits have been pulled from the shelves across the province of #Ontario in response to US #President #DonaldTrump’s sweeping #tariffs. Other provinces have enacted similar bans.

Which means that, for the second year in a row, #Jewish customers don’t have access to some traditional, #kosher-for-passover options such as #Manischewitz."

"A new guide to #kosher #food at #MajorLeague #Baseball stadiums highlights expanded options for the 2026 season, including 13 certified kosher stands across the #UnitedStates and #Canada.
#DaniKlein, founder of #YeahThatsKosher, told JNS he compiled the annual guide through independent research and industry contacts.

“I try to do it annually if I can,” he said. “YeahThatsKosher is at the forefront of letting the kosher community know their options for #kosherfood, dining and travel around the world, and finding kosher food at sporting arenas falls within what we cover throughout the year.”

Kosher concessions are now available at stadiums, including #YankeeStadium, #CitiField, #WrigleyField and #RogersCenter. Menus typically feature ballpark staples such as #hotdogs, #pastrami #sandwiches, #knishes and #pretzels, with some venues offering expanded items like #brisket #nachos and specialty #sausages."

Kosher food guide expands 2026 options at MLB stadiums

Baseball fans can find certified kosher food at 13 MLB stadium locations this season, though stands remain closed on Shabbat and Jewish holidays and do not offer Passover items.

Reese’s Pieces are now kosher pareve. Carnivores rejoice.

A morsel of good news for kosher consumers

The Forward

Big JNews!

"#Antisemitism is on the rise. There’s a war raging in the #MiddleEast. #Passover is bearing down on us and gas prices are higher than ever.

And yet one morsel of good news came to #Jewish faithful this month: #ReesesPieces are now certified #kosher #pareve.

#OU Kosher, the largest kosher certifier in the #US, announced March 12 that the candy-coated peanut butter candies are no longer considered dairy despite packaging that labels them as such.

The implications for kosher consumers are as momentous as they are simple: Reese’s Pieces can be eaten immediately after meat — or for the deeply adventurous stomach, alongside it — without the hourslong period #Orthodox #Jews wait before eating dairy again."
