I thought long and hard about posting this one, but I decided I would. Here is my Roberta Wells for K47. Honestly it’s probably one of the worst results I have achieved in a while.
The truth is that every time I went to fix something on the model I felt like I was just making it worse. So I had to employ an important lesson of the hobby. Knowing when it was time to step away from a project, and this was the time.

The US Firefly Offier is now complete for K47. Not my finest work, but still fairly happy with it.
Speaking of projects in progress, I made some pretty good strides on the Linebacker so far. Main armor is about done. Now time for the metal bits and details.
Eyes I am still working on, but for the most part, the Stahltruppen Officer is done.

Roberta Wells is definitely in that ugly phase of the project, but now that I have the basic colors picked out, I can go back and start cleaning up.
It’s a tale of 3 #Konflikt47 characters as I get some more work done on the Stahltruppen and Firefly officers from the 2 player starter box, and get a start on the “Operation Touchdown” variant of Roberta Wells that came with Festung Europa.
Got home from work to happily find my preordered copy of Festung Europa for #konflikt47 along with the included Roberta Wells figure. Not only that but they included an unexpected freebie of a Afrika Korps sprue for Bolt Action as well. 😍
Here is another Quick Gen test, this time using the Firefly Platoon Officer for K47 as the test subject, and this time with a white primer instead of Zenithol. I am finding so far Quick Gen does give you some neat extra effects when you paint in layers and using multiple coats if needed.
