I was going to say something about the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, but fuggedaboutit. Languages are just beautiful and they don't have to come down to logic or realism or any form of prescriptivism (or its opposite).

Case in point, I love how in Japanese, the verb "to solve" is also the verb "to melt." Isn't that brilliant?

#Komorebi beschreibt das zarte Spiel von Sonnenstrahlen, die durch die Blätter der Bäume wirken, und von Schatten der Blätter, die in hellen Licht-Schatten-Flecken auf dem Boden oder im Blick der Betrachtenden wirbelnd tanzen.
