Spent some time organizing my 4x5 color scanning workflow a bit. I shot so many sheets just trying to organize it all has been a bigger thing than I thought. I'm also testing out switching to single sheet PrintFiles rather than the 4-sheet binder sheets. I think it'll make printing and organizing a bit easier. In the interim, I just started numbering the sheets by scan order and once everything is in, I'll spend a day organizing everything properly and will give all the sheets a file number (which then goes into my negative tracking webapp).

Anyways! This is another from Seydisfjordur. Taken on E100. It's taken me a bit to warm up to E100 in slide but I will say it's very neutral and accurate to what the scene was. I'm glad I spent some time learning it while in Iceland.

*Pours one out for Velvia 50*

Icelandic Horse Time!

Shot on Kodak E100 on my Hasselblad on an absolutely gorgeous evening. One of the few times the sun came peaking out on our trip.

I decided to scan this using my own Raleno scanning setup and my Lumix G95. My flatbed has better sharpness, but the camera setup gives me better shadow detail. On the note of the flatbed, I came up with the system for how I will be tackling height adjustment that I'm quite excited about so I'll have more on that at some point soon. Either way I like this one so much I might opt to get it drum scanned. Not quite sure yet since that's expensive and I'll need to see how the rest of the film scans in (including some of the gorgeous 4x5 slide I'm really excited about).

Anyways one of the places we were staying at was an active farm and they had a number of horses. This one really liked getting it's picture taken.

I was going through some photos from a few years back and found this one. I can't remember if I've shared it before or not. Taken on the new Kodak E100 reversal (slide) film. I have found it can be a little tricky in large format but in 35mm with my N80, it works really well!

On that note, I'm still planning on using 5294 (Movie version of E100) for product photography as well as just shooting in general. It's some fun stuff!

Anyways this was a shot from Medina Lake (when it actually had water in it...).
