多次公開表示熱愛英倫文化的湯告魯斯，近年以英國為主要製作基地，更於約五年前斥資 3500 萬英鎊，購入倫敦騎士橋、毗鄰海德公園的豪華公寓。不過，近日有接近他的消息人士透露，他已於上月突然搬走，原因與附近治安惡化有關。

同一地段上月發生持刀劫案，日間有勞力士錶行被搶，事件亦再度引發外界對倫敦治安的關注。最新民調顯示，六成一英國人認為倫敦「不安全」，比例較 2014 年大幅上升。不過市長簡世德強調，倫敦仍屬全球最安全城市之一。
