Let’s dance in the park! No need to bring a partner. QT Fusion Dance is partnering with Free DC for this event. 5:30 Network, share a snack, warm up 6:00-6:45 Beginner Kizomba Lesson with Luella (building on previous week’s lessons & focusing on saidas - no prior experience necessary!) 7:00 Fusion Dance Lesson with TBD The rest of the time will be for practica and social dancing! Bring a water bottle and, optionally, a snack to share. Add songs to our collaborative playlist! Rain site: TBD In addition to giving students the chance to learn dance, these donation-based outdoor events will give opportunities for new instructors to gain some experience and receive feedback from students! A feedback form is coming soon.

On Dec 31, after finishing all my tasks by the evening, I decided to go to a dance party. I am learning to dance #kizomba and for a guy it's an especially difficult dance. On the night between december and january, I wanted to dance in an unfamiliar place. I thought I would dance badly so I decided not to judge myself in any way and simply offer myself as a dance partner.
