Took the Pieni Karhunkierros Trail — winding paths through deep forest, over roaring rapids and across hanging bridges. A wild river carving its way through ancient rock. Powerful and peaceful all at once. One of the famous highlights of the trail: Myllykoski, a powerful rapid on the Kitkajoki river, known for its old mill and dramatic, fast-flowing water.

Tämä on loistouutinen, vaikka itse olen käynyt Kuusinkijoella vain kerran. Sen sijaan Kitkajoella kävin jo pikkunaperona isän ja enon kanssa mm. kuuluisalla Harrisuvannolla, jossa eno loikkasi jokeen, kun onki katkesi ison kalan vuoksi. Se on piirtynyt tajuntaani ikuiseksi ajaksi.
