A blueberry & strawberry galette.
The crust is bomb. That lemon zest & sugar magic is perfection. Some of the strawberries in the garden began to “sun-dry” (like tomatoes) on the plant because I get full sun. They have this stunning concentrated strawberry flavor that trips me out. 😍
I plucked some mint & made whipped cream from scratch.
This has made me find a bit of peace tonight. #KitchenWitch
I made this Iraqi pomegranate fish. You carmelize onions, dress the salmon in this yummy pomegranate sauce, & bake it on a low temp for 20 mins. I added roasted eggplant to recipe.
I made a barley, white bean, chard, & sun-dried tomato side dish.
I was so hungry, distracted, & this was so delish that I forgot to plate the pomegranate arils & started eating before I realized my whoopsies. #KitchenWitch

Hulled a bunch of strawberries for a pie & the extra I threw into 2 mason jars and filled those with vodka & put those in a dark place in the pantry = strawberry liqueur.
I’ve got the chimichuri shrimp resting, so I’ll start on the lemon-sumac dressing for the fattoush salad on the side. #KitchenWitch
