I guess it must be the autistic "justice sensitivity" kicking in now. I just started KCD2 and Hans wouldn't help me with the flour and I really laid into him for it and I won't let it go and I am not even picking dialogue "I'm looking for my friend" because I'm so personally affronted by his refusal to help me with such an easy job and then also starting a fight which got us both in trouble while I was minding MY business so he can go fuck himself 😂

SBirdNot even in soulslikes had I experienced a total lack of gratification in combat. #kingdomcomedeliverance2 is elevated to the game where I haven't won a single combat match in the first hours of gameplay (and counting). I simply avoid it now, but it won't be forever. Still, I don't know... I have found a few satisfying things in the game. The woods, the birdsong, and making potions. Also, the Roma people at the camp are really cool. I'm getting many quests but have completed only one or two.
I caved in and bought #kingdomcomedeliverance2 and now I'm sure I would never have been able to survive the Middle Ages. In my lack of self-preservation I found the beauty in the game. Favorite activity? Plucking flowers. I'm not even kidding. It's the only thing peaceful and minimally lucrative I can do in the game. Only here can I pluck flowers and die of sleep deprivation with stolen items in my inventory. Praise be to God. #videogames
