To the woman behind at Dunkin’ this morning—I hope your day gets better. It may have seemed like I was lingering at the window because I didn’t pull away right after receiving my order and receipt.

At the same moment the clerk told me your total ($6), I heard you shout, “Are you kidding me?” and saw you wave your fist out the open window. Even so, I went ahead and paid for your order (as you found out).
