I know that converting #Eventbrite organizer events to ical calendar events is possible (thanks to https://eb-to-ical.daylightpirates.org/), but is it possible to get alerts of new events by an organizer via #rss? (besides with #killthenewsletter, I guess)

Time to unsubscribe all my email newsletters and restart using #rss! Gonna use #KillTheNewsletter
https://kill-the-newsletter.com/

I am not sure when I stopped using #Feedly (probably when I upgraded phones), but it's time to restart using an FOSS alternative. I am testing out Feeder on Android. But I'll be trying out Fluent Reader too as it is cross platform.

What's your favourite #rssreader?

Read newsletters in your RSS reader and not your email program

We all know this problem. There are certain newsletters, such as DevOps Weekly, that you don’t want to miss, but you also don’t want to consume them with your other emails. A nice way to solve this dilemma is Kill the Newsletter!. It is both a free hosted service and an open source project that you can run yourself. Instead of giving out your personal email address, Kill the Newsletter generates a special email for you, which you use to subscribe to your newsletter.

Já tenho todas as newsletters que sigo no leitor de #RSS graças a #KillTheNewsletter (e a @ascarida).

Mastodon's inspired me to go on yet another #selfhosted bender; now going deep into setting up #freshrss and #killthenewsletter for my feed reading.
