Sorted out my Tokusatsu folder some more, and got some Kikaida on.
The DARK putties just shout "Dark! Dark! Dark? Dark. DAAAARK!"
Jiro shows the danger of relying on AI, he's doing his best but often incapacitated by Professor's flute.

In which X7 listens to and reviews seven songs from all over the world! To top that, there is only one song from the 80s this episode, which has to be some kind of weird confluence. Be that as it may, there are some very interesting songs here, and a few of them are pretty well known! Turn up the radio, fellow agents!
From a Kikaida themed drink & draw ahead of Kikaida Day in Hawaii (May 12). Decided I'd focus on Jiro this time.

Jiro took bout an hour and 45 minutes; starfish purple was about 10 minutes.
I've been watching the original Jinzo Ningen Kikaida and... this show certainly exists. Look, I was introduced to the franchise with the anime reboot Android Kikaider which, while short, was a great animation and story. There are much better versions of this show that exist now, including (I'm just assuming, not having watched it yet) the 2014 reboot movie. This show was made on a penny budget and is a toku *trapped* in the 70s.

I gave the Kikaida to Ban Daisuke, the actor that portrayed him.
