(When the light leak is this ferocious, you kind of have to lean into it and invent a narrative that this beam destroyed the farm house and now is sweeping across the landscape. The other narrative is this is a learning experience of not to replace the dark slide in bright direct sunlight.)

I tried very hard to obscure the fact that he was looking down at a cell phone to make the photo more old-timey. But I would have been better served in trying to frame something more interesting in the rear view mirror. Also first experience with FX-39 II developer and super impressed with the grain control, almost too clean for my taste (probably doesn't come through after the jpeg export and upload shenanigans).

The colors are very rich and bit wild with the Harman Phoenix color film reversal. Getting a hang of how I'd like to do the edit so the character still shows while controlling for the light source and scanning. I think that the "White B&W" light setting (5000K) with the same color balance on the camera might be the ticket for the most part. I'll be more meticulous with the next roll I shoot with the intent of color reversal, possibly this weekend.
