Worked on stuff most of the day (other than when I fell asleep for a while) and got a lot done, played my keyboard and today is the first day since all of the trouble started that I felt like I was actually playing music. Not that well, but actually making music rather than trying to just make my fingers press the right keys at the right times. So that was a milestone, in my mind! We never did get the expected rain today, it did get really hot though. And GREAT NEWS!!!! Howie may be coming home soon! I got more pictures from Bill and he looks FANTASTIC! (Howie, I mean...though Bill looked fine too I'm sure but he wasn't in the pictures.) I am getting SO EXCITED to use Howie, even if it's just a short trip for a day or two somewhere here in Michigan! But I am incredibly happy and excited! We have a few little things to do, then some things that won't get done immediately (decorating, curtains, paint here and there, stuff like that) but certainly he'll be usable for a trial trip or two! And it will just be nice to have him for more comfortable trips to appointments and such as well. So that's my exciting news for the day, I will, of course, keep you posted! Hope you had a great weekend, and I will see you in the morning❣️👋🙏🛌🌃

"Feb 1, 2024 - Today and tomorrow I'm eating out. Been doing a lot of carnivore lately - most days, in fact - so going to see how a couple of days off go, how my body handles it mainly. I'm a huge proponent of listening to my body's signals, and about once a week I get cravings for things like cabbage or mushrooms or squash. And I'm there. So this weekend I'll be doing OMaD and moderate carb and see how it goes. Frankly, I've been losing weight so fast it is almost making me nervous. I never wanted to lose like this...for a few days I'm putting on the brakes and catching my breath but still taking it day by day. I will keep you posted."
