I see people talking about Kei cars, and here are a few observations.

Kei cars are NOT a solution for the commute problem. You know what is a solution for commuting problem? A decent network of public transport venues and assets.

Take it from a guy who enjoys messing around with cars. Kei cars are an enthusiast thing, unless you have a small farm and don't care about creature comforts on a small utility truck.

Period.
