but after he got caught by Gran Torino and the Shirakumo connection I figured it would never happen… guess I was wrong… although it’s really hard not to see this as Horikoshi going “crap now that I’ve made All For One take over Tomura’s body Bakugo doesn’t have a real win over anyone… what should I… AHA Kurogiri of course…” I don’t even hate Bakugo but come on that’s what this scene always feels like…

I mean I can’t imagine AFO was ok with him… and if he’s not Gigantomachia then… hmmm… ah well… Yeah about AFO being defeated well… he did mention something about a trump card and well… I do have something to say about what it could be but… yeah a honestly satisfying end to AFO… just wish Bakugo could have just really taken down a major villain one on one and not when both sides are extremely injured before the fight like Re-Destro or something…

… I think the theories were made cause BakuGO (5) and KiriSHIma (4) and Kudo kind of looked like Bakugo and we didn’t know much about OFA once Daigoro Banjo appeared it deconfirmed the time travel theory… still I DID subscribe to the theory at least that Kudo was a Bakugo ancestor for a while…but this was honestly much better as it puts more weight in Bakugo’s growth and his battles as he’s not connected to OFA or AFO by blood or by quirk

But yeah I’ve just seen the exact same sequence play out before with less relevant characters that it just never convinced me he died even if the opening INTENTIONALLY left him out… for now at least… I will at least admit that his return to action here is a little bit ridiculous… but at least he was given some treatment by allies before being written off as dead by them like I’ve seen elsewhere…
