Good light today so taking a few product photos for my website. I never felt that a dedicated webshop was the right thing for me but still I'd like a nice gallery of sorts in wich to put up the pieces that are for sale.

I don't often paint my work yellow but I have long wanted to test this colour. A nice fiery yellow 😊

From a threshold ⚒️

When we removed an old, high and wide threshold. We then made a compromise with a low and wide made of birch wood instead. And the piece that was left over got to be another trivet.
I used beeswax this time and heated it in, trying to keep the birch woods light colour 🌳

From my sisters birch floor we laid in her hallway I were able to save a few pieces that were over. Its a birch tree my dad has cut down so thats a bit of a fun detail.

Is there any interest in organizing slöjd evenings or a "whittle fika" here in Sörmland (Sweden) or in the Katrineholm/Flen area? The idea would be to gather craft enthusiasts who can already work independently with their craft, where you can really geek out and share your experiences and work on your own projects.
The arrangement can be formed together, perhaps every week or once a month.

Here is the latest folding spoon that i have made for a costumer. its made out of cherry wood. I absolutely love how the chipcarved pattern turned out, i will definetly do a similar pattern in the future. I usually sketch out a small part of the pattern in advance and then the rest of the pattern is allowed to grow out of the sketch when I carve.

This was a commisoned pice. a spoon like this one would cost about 4000 SEK. Its takes about three days of fulltime work to make a spoon like this.
