We are now in County #Claire & have been walking in #TheBurren, an area of extensive #limestone pavement & karstification. I don't have enough superlatives! The scenery, the flora & geology are unique. I have been to many places but few tick even half as many boxes.

I figured I would share some more photos of the beautiful #karst terrain of Marble Meadows within #strathconaProvincialPark here on #Vancouverisland where that encounter was. hier tritt kalkreiches Wasser aus dem Untergrund aus. Solche Quellen entstehen, wenn Wasser Kalkstein löst und unterirdische Hohlräume bildet, bevor es wieder an die Oberfläche gelangt. Das helle, klare Wasser hebt sich deutlich von der dunklen Moorumgebung ab.

Tested against 13,000 known TAG caves with 1km square search areas, cave location placed randomly inside so the model doesn't learn it's always centered.

Within 50m: 40% top 10, 60% top 25, 73% top 50.
Within 25m: 23%, 32%, 38%.
Within 10m: 13%, 17%, 20%.

Built it because nothing else does this. Today you need specialized GIS knowledge and tools like QGIS to look for caves with LiDAR. No other web or mobile app automates the workflow.
I'm a director of the NSS, a member of state cave surveys, and I've worked jobs looking for caves professionally. I tested it like a caver would.
