bikejournoContrasts throughout a day in #Taiwan regarding #food: started with a very typical TW-style breakfast in #Kaohsiung (that food is for three persons), had Ramen as a late lunch upon arriving at #Taichung's Highspeed Railway station and went to an excellent Japanese restaurant for sashimi and a seafood miso for dinner. Life is too short to eat crap. #travel #FarEast
Turns out #Kaohsiung's #Pier2 area has upped its #beer game massively: TW brewers 23Brew have opened a lovely little tap room, and the #BeerTalk beer bar simply is next level. Proper #jazz at a reasonable volume to allow for conversations and more good beers than you could try in one evening. Add peanuts, highly recommended! #Taiwan #travel #FarEast
Going full tourist in #Kaohsiung, taking the ferry to #Cijin, walking up to the lighthouse and fort, enjoying the views and then heading for the famous Sunset Bar. Time for an early #beer then, Redpoint's Long Dong lager.
