They really just jammed that ship in there, huh? Like, Touka/Kaneki had solid build up in the original series, but they gave almost no time to reestablish their relationship in :re.

Part of that is, I think, the sheer amount of story they skipped. They even had to “flashback” to scenes they never showed before, of Haise making eyes at Touka.

It feels rushed. This isn’t my ship though, so can someone who does ship it comment?

It’s becoming apparent to me that Shuu may not die. I was disappointed when Kaneki dropped him, as I was fairly confident he’d live. And was right.

Speaking of which, Ken is back. And also back on his bs.  

I imagine things are going to get very emotionally complicated from here on out.
