The head of public information and spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Authority, Hafiz Muhammad Yusuf Hamad, announced that five people have been killed in Kabul, Zabul, Kandahar, Smenghan, Takhar, Nangarhar, Laghman, and Kunar provinces due to floods, storms, and landslides over the past 48 hours.
Hamad added that during this period, 30 homes and 15 shops were partially destroyed, along with 86 kilometers of road, a water supply network, and one bridge.

Work on the installation of an electrical gate (tollgate) valued at over 42 million Afghanis is progressing according to plan along the road to Spin Boldak district from Kandahar City.

At least five people have died as a result of floods, storms, and landslides across eight Afghanistan’s provinces over the past 48 hours, Afghanistan disaster management official confirmed.
Hafiz Mohammad Yusuf Hammad, a spokesman, reported that the affected regions include Kabul, Zabul, Kandahar, Samangan, Takhar, Nangarhar, Laghman, and Kunar.
Hammad further stated that the extreme weather partially damaged 30 residential houses and 15 commercial shops during this period. In addition, vital infrastructure sustained heavy losses, with 86 kilometers of roadway, a water supply network, and a bridge completely destroyed.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs states that the buildings for fire suppression in the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province and at Mirwais Minae have been constructed and put into operation.
These buildings were built at a cost of 24 million Afghanis from the Ministry of Interior's budget.
