Had my quarterly echo today with a new tech. She was quite relieved to find out that I already knew I had two very different lungs. Or as she said “your left lung is big and beautiful and healthy………….pause…….”

Wandering over here for a mini blog. On my threads account I did a mini call-out on a nutritionist who who talked about the “unique fatigue of breast cancer patients”. It was just a mini because I am more about pointing out than confronting. Words matter.
Classifying a whole group as being unique because of their disease feels like it does such a disservice to the rest of the world that lives with conditions that cause ongoing constant issue.

Started out the day feeling surprisingly good for day after chemo, slept in a little on purpose, took care of the animals, even did my full morning workout! Took a shower, got dressed and then SLAMMED into a brick wall (figuratively). It is noon and I am just done.

Well..#today I am getting an echocardiogram to see if my heart damage was a fluke. If my broken heart is healed, back to chemo. Not really sure which I am hoping for as I've enjoyed my long break!
