I am really concerned with how my brain works. I started the other day thinking I'd really like to have a good calendar for my homebrew world because what I created earlier wasn't really working.
Now here I am two days later with a timeline that loosely goes back 5,000 years, naming ages, creating an "NPC" archivist that when my player characters do history checks they would have read something from one of their books.
Looks like the scheduling goblin is going to strike again with the group I'm DMing for. Weighing my options but I think I'm going to push forward and just change the combat scenario I have set up.
I for one know my Bard has derailed many a campaign with their side quest antics, but my Barbarian player has charged so fast into things they've virtually ended up in another town!
