I wanted to try #Mobian #Trixie on my #Librem5 again as I got a way to go back to #pulseaudio to as a work around to missing echo cancellation support in #pipewire (Thanks to @dos ). So I went ahead and ran the usual apt dis-upgrade way (in hindsight, may be gnome software was a better option). But I got locked out of the session as upgrade was progressing. So I had to force shut down and then use #JumpDrive to repair it from my laptop.

Played through the easy campaign for #solotober , and just managed to get enough military to eek out a win, though it wasn't that militaristic even though I started on a slight war footing.

I needed to start the #librem5 using #jumpdrive to chroot the system using qemu-user-static inspired by https://wiki.debian.org/RaspberryPi/qemu-user-static to revert to 8.9.1-2.

This moring, the 8.10.0-2 is available.

Yes, I'm using unstable because I want to test early 😉

Whenever I have to deal with #LinuxMobile on devices that formerly ran android I realize how super simple things like flashing and debugging are on the #Librem5 compared to that.

No odd partition schemes, no super sensitive boot loader that gives up on the first glitch. Just #uboot and if all else fails #jumpdrive.

File Under: Dinge, die man tut, wenn man Zeit (und sehr wenig Konzentration für anderes) hat. #JumpDrive plus Erweiterung & #OhMyGoods plus Erweiterungen werden umgepackt.
