As above, I wrote a blog post last year about the world maps I had leftover from Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. I grew up in the heyday of JRPG’s on the Super Nintendo. They had profound effects on me as a person and writer.

@massivelyop think it may actually be MMO fatigue. I find myself not logging into my MMOs as much and instead leaving towards shorter game experiences. Even #jrpgs have been too much of a commitment for me

Watched the followup, just as good. The recap of the brilliant ending was another spine-tingling moment! I still remember how much my jaw dropped at the way they handled the whole thing back when I originally beat the game.

I was trying to fully drain my phone battery so I randomly found this tier-list review of Star Ocean First Departure characters. When the guy said "We'll start with the sh*t tier: Ronyx" I burst out laughing. Ilia and Claude (in the SO2R tier list) are both top of the top tier, obviously. "Mom, Dad's dragging us down!!"

I played four #ComputerGames yesterday, and, funnily enough, one of them wasn't with 4 Guys Co-op, which got canceled due to illness, injury, and travel. I got sucked into Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding over the weekend. It recently came to Xbox Game Pass—an odd #cRPG, whose main mechanic is trying to stay upright while carrying a lot of stuff. I also played Eternal Strands, Metamorph ReFantazio (sic), and Octopath Traveler, all fun #JRPGs. Damn that #Xbox rewards gamifying system!
