A girl loses tragically loses her parents, and moves in with her estranged aunt...is such a fucking disservice to the depth of this show. Anime of the year without a doubt. I say that with Frieren S2 and Ascendance of a bookworm S4 coming.

If you have ever dealt with loss, this #anime is either too damn much, or just fucking right.

#JournalWithWitch is set in 2018 apparently … Makio just flipped her desk calendar to reveal April 2018, with Asa’s performance at school marked down for Tuesday 10 April 2018 (I don’t know if that’s accurate, but I’m guessing it would be, this is not a show to make errors like that)

OK, chortling at #JournalWithWitch is never on my bingo card but this was genuinely funny to me. To explain, Makio (On the left, and the one currently speaking) is a novelist. She does, indeed, “make a living off of lying”. Albeit, that’s a fairly harsh way to put it…

Journal with Witch è uno dei miei anime preferiti di questa stagione. A mani basse. Non mi ricordo se avevo già scritto qualcosa in proposito, perché è così perfetto che a fine puntata sono svuotata, non ho niente da dire.

Però, ecco, dopo questa ottava puntata magari vorrei leggere quello che scrive Makio.
