Obsidian vs. Joplin
Wir alle kennen das Problem: Das Gehirn quillt über. Projektideen, Meeting-Notizen, Code-Schnipsel oder das Rezept für die perfekte Lasagne – alles braucht einen Platz. Aber wo? After 3 tears of using #obsidian #obsidianmd , I wanted to try something lighter and #opensource (important to me). I did some #joplin , some #logseq ...
I have too many notes where I didn't put a hashtag to categorise the information, didn't migrate everything from one to another... So my stuff is all over the place, not organised, and it drives me nuts 🙁
At the end of the day, I don't even know which one I'd use. Probably #logseq . maybe I could script something to dump useful content of other apps onto a big note in Logseq, so that a full text find works? #1bigtextfile @ellane ?
Or go to the shop and buy a notebook!
@thelinuxEXP I have the EXACT same issue with Joplin and Plasma Global Menu. Hopefully a fix will come along soon.

I've been trying to wean myself off Google Keep, I've tried Joplin for a while, but it seems to generate a LOT of 'extraneous' files.
I'm now trying out Obsidian, it seems to be much better, and the markdown files saved may be read outside of the Obsidian app.
It took a while to set up and understand Obsidian, but I feel like I've made progress.
