Today part of the Jolla crew spent an inspiring day in Salo showcasing our flagship device, the Jolla Phone during Salo IoT Campus spring festival. The final assembly of Jolla Phones is set to take place at Salo IoT Campus this summer. 📱
We had fantastic conversations throughout the day and many opportunities to showcase our truly European smartphone and our Sailfish OS. It was inspiring to meet so many curious and passionate people who stopped by our stand.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to talk with us and special thanks to the amazing team at Salo IoT Campus for inviting us to the spring festival! ❤️

Since my first submission to Harbour, the #Jolla Store, (and that was 9 years, 11 months ago!) I’ve missed email notifications for app reviews (AKA comments).
Not anymore: I wrote a Prometheus exporter to receive alerts when I get a new review. As a bonus, I now have historical data for my apps: https://scarpino.dev/posts/harbour-exporter-a-prometheus-exporter-for-the-jolla-store.html
So Google is seemingly updating reCAPTCHA (the most popular bot detection method on the web since forever) to require a phone running either iOS or a Google-sanctioned Android OS.
If you don't have a smartphone or your smartphone has stuff like GrapheneOS on it, you can't seemingly complete reCAPTCHAS anymore without jumping through hoops or by getting a separate phone for doing this.
