The Pennsylvania senator was the only Democrat to vote in committee for DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin as others — including the GOP committee chair — opposed him.
The 8-7 vote sends #Trump's #homeland pick to the #Republican-controlled full #Senate for a vote, where #MarkwayneMullin will only need a majority to be confirmed. The committee vote was mostly along party lines, with the exception of Republican Chairman #RandPaul, who voted against Mullin, & the ever disappointing Democratic Senator #JohnFetterman, who voted in support.
