Finalmente sono riuscito a vederlo; meglio tardi che mai!

"Kairo" (Pulse) di Kiyoshi Kurosawa (2001)

Nonostante il doppiaggio italiano non eccelso, alcuni dialoghi decisamente surreali e la trama non sempre lineare, l'ho trovato davvero inquietante.
Regia e fotografia davvero curati, ritmo lento ma non snervante, niente "jumpscare" e un'atmosfera cupa, anche di giorno, che rende tutto molto agosciante.

Senza anticipare troppo, le due teorie principali sul senso dalla vita e della morte potrebbero creare qualche brutto pensiero a persone particolarmente sensibili.

In molte recensioni parlano di "macchie" sul muro ma, sinceramente, appena vista la prima scena, non ho potuto fare a meno di collegare queste immagini alle "ombre di Hiroshima", altro dettaglio, a mio parere abbastanza inquietante.

Non aggiungo altro, non voglio rovinare il film a nessunə!

Se siete appassionati del genere, consiglio caldamente la visione.
