Fucking Ryanair (the official company name, I believe) keeps sending me emails asking me to sign petitions to stop workers taking industrial action, for governments to invest more in infrastructure such as air traffic control, etc.
This is pretty fucking cheeky coming from the airline that's constantly haggling to pay the absolute bare minimum to the airports, rakes in money from saturated tourism & treats their employees like shit.

Overtourism turns every destination into a Dubai clone. Expensive, bland, Instagram-obsessed, culturally sterile and boring. What remains is only appealing to those to whom a holiday in Dubai sounds like a Great Idea.
The very act of visiting an over touristed destination contributes to its #enshittification in so many ways.
